my main prob with Invision is still down to its admin cp and skin control its no where to being close to vb's
But i think its front end user look is better then vb's out of the box but that might swap when vb's new look comes out, yet again most people who have vb redo all there look unlike Invision what is used by alot of people who are starting out due to it being free who just keep the basic look.
 make an invision skin for vb
funilly enough with my sites final vb3 skin i plan to redesign the usercp to make it cpanel-esqe
Well I'll do some lookin at code, since I am an avid wBB Supporter (I work at almost all the english sites). So I'd like to see how true this is.
As well, wBB2.1 is far different from vB.
wBB1.1 I believe had some parts of code that were extremely similar, but this is because it was Burntimes first PHP board, and he needed a guide. But he has gotten much better, so now there is nothing similar between th two.

Who's online and the private message system to name a couple, they may have been around in other boards before they where hacks for ubb 5, I dont re-call seeing them before then. The frist time I saw avatars on a majior board software was a ubb 5 hack also.
Board scripts have some along way scence ubb 5 was considered the best out there.
I used UBB for 2 years, and then switched to vB around 2 and a half years ago. I remember the joy of seeing how every hack I could possibly want was already included. Those were the days!
