I've spent some time searching for information on customizing the registration process and user profile to include city, state, zip code, country but have not found mention of other's doing this. Can someone point to some other posts that discuss this and/or show examples that demonstrate the basics of what would need to be done to accomodate this need. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Thanks! Related to this I want to capture the person's first and last names as part of the registration process. Given that these would likely be listed just after the username field would I first add it as a user profile field then modify the registration template to display it where I want? It appears that while you can adjust the display order of the user profile fields they are only for those fields, not "system" fields such as username, etc. If this is the case is there a way to alter the template to do what I would like?

Wouldn't making them requireds field do this?
