I know I am missing it but I have searched for 15 minutes, can someone give me a link to a "last topic on index" hack for version 2.3.0, i found one for other versions but not 2.3.0

Nearly every hack for 2.2.x is compatible for 2.3.0. Have you tried installing it?

no but i will, i'm a phpbb convert and new to VB so i wasnt sure of the compatibility, thanks for your help, the vB3 version looks awesome but my members want this hack NOW
