Is there a hack to copy or duplicate templates from one theme to another. I have 3 themes on my site and I have to keep creating and coping templates each time I try a new hack. It would be great to just say take these three templates and copy them to these two other themes

No such hack that works is availabe

It's easiest to install the Template BackUp hack by firefly

Personally, I'm a fan of using one template set for all themes. That way any additional hacking doesn't require updating a gillion template sets. With the use of vB's replacement system - it works out quite well.

But, if that's not an option, then Mist is quite right - the TBS (template Backup system) is a GREAT addition; regardless of how many sets you use.
