Integration of vBulletin with ARSC chat program
Anyone want to take a crack at making ARSC use the vBulletin user database. It uses it's own simple user table but it is beyond my comfort level to try to make them work together.
Basically, I'd like to limit chat to registered forums users and have them use the same username/password in both places. Ideally, if they are logged-in in the forums, they could just jump right into chat. I imagine that this might be as simple as modifying the register routine of the forums to add the info to the chat user table (migrating existing forum users might be a bit tougher). Any help would be greatly appreciated. ARSC can be found and downloaded for free at: http://manuel.kiessling.net/projects/software/arsc/ |

Never mind. I have found out that this chat script does not run on my server (and would require some unsavory changes to the PHP config to get it working).
