Integration of existing login
I know this has been brought up countless times, but...
I already have a system form managing a community, including login and calendar, and I need that the registered users, when they log in to the other system, also get logged in to vB. I also need to remove/replace the profile, home, login ad calendar pages, but I'll sort that out myself. The vB user table wil be used only for duping auth, not for actual data purposes. Has anybody else done this? Pls point me to any threads on the subjects... |

I am faced with the same scenario... i guess the only difference between my existing user accounts is that someone would need to create a user-name for the forums.
If you have any tips on this please let me know... but i dont want users to have to login both for the site and for the forums... thanks |
