Latest 3 threads of each forum
Hello everybody,
I'd like to request a hack that show the latest 3 threads of each forum on forumhome. It should write them underneath the forumtitles. I'll try to explain it with this outline: Forum1 - topic1 by user1 - 3 replies - topic2 by user2 - 15 replies - topic3 by user3 - 8 replies Forum2 - topic4 by user4 - 4 replies - topic5 by user5 - 11 replies - topic6 by user6 - 7 replies and so on.... thanks in advance. |

That hack is easily done, but it will add at least 1 query for each forum you have - so if you have 30 forums, that is 30 EXTRA queries on your forumhome. Are you sure you want to do that to the busiest page on your forum?

Yeah, I'm sure. I've got a bit different design of my vbulletin than the default.
Could you please tell me how I can do this. |
