keep guests from viewing who's online
hello m8's..
i have a question, how can i keep guests from viewing the WHO'S ONLINE at the bottom of the forum? So i want to completely hide it from them, also the WHO WAS ONLINE TODAY would be best to kept only for members... thanx in advance |

Well...
You could install Logician's " Advanced Templates: Dynamic Templates Changing according to different conditions" hack... Then open the forumhome template, and find : Code:

btw. the usergroup id of guests is 1
so if you refer users who is NOT a guest it is: $bbuserinfo[usergroupid]>1 or if you want to use userid it is: $bbuserinfo[userid]>0 |

I installed it and it is working... only one questions comes to me... How can i tell what $userid is i.e. moderator or user awaiting email conf....?? !!thanx!! |

Go to your adminCP, go to modify usergroups, and hover over the link to edit a usergroup and look at the URl on the status bar and it will give you the id.
