Default Custom Hack Wanted

Hey!

I have a really cool idea for a hack, well, I didnt think of it, A mod at my forums did.

Now before I start, I need to say that I am willing to pay an EXPERIENCED hacker, someone who knows a lot about PHP and vBulletin.

NOTE: Text in RED means its by me. Text is Blue means its my moderators version. Sorry but you will have to kinda intergrate the 2 explanations together to get a good idea
So, here it goes:

To sum it all up, this is really a battle hack, but with a slight twist.

On the forum, there will be a special board. Named "Battle" or something. And for the users, they will be special 'Teams' for them to join. Now when A team wants to battle another team, the will post in the battle forum, thread name:
"Battle *Team Name*"
And inside the thread, the name of the member in that team.

So mojo will get an PM/Email notifying him he has a battle. He will go in.
And this is the tricky bit:
The user fights by 'Rolling' a pair of dice:

Now a 2 and a 4 will be times by the person Weapon(Yes, there needs to be a weapon hack) and the persons HP will drop, until they die. When a person dies, a member with the right item can revive them.

My version is pretty crappy, here is the other version:


Battle System


Turns
Battles are now done according to your "Attack Order" that you all chose in each of your forums. Your #1 person attacks, then after he or she has posted it, then the #2 person goes, after he or she is done, then #3, etc, until you get to #12, then you start back with your first attacker again. You can attack anyone regardless of their attack number, so if you're #1 and you want to kill #12, then go ahead.

Say for instance, your #3 person dies, and #4 revives him, then #3 will hafta wait til your clan goes clear through the attack list and gets back to #3 again, so don't think you can just go attacking since you didnt get to your last turn, you still hafta wait til its your turn to go again.

Attacking
(Sorry to FFXO for ripping off the dice thing, but I couldn't think of anything better that would work. You guys can have the credit for thinking of it first though).
Attacks are based on your weapon??s attack power, number on your dice roll, and strength of the ability you??re using. The new dice script will be the one in the Aim chatrooms. To use it simply type "//roll". Your roll will show up on the screen so no one can even think about cheating now. If you got a 6 and a 4, then add those together and you get 10.

Example: You have a Broad Sword with an attack of 8 and you roll a 6 and a 4 with the dice, which adds up to 10, so your attack would do 80 damage (8 x 10 = 80). However if you roll doubles it??s a different story.

Example 2: You have a Broad Sword with an attack of 8 and you roll a 5 and a 5 with the dice which adds up to 10, so your attack would do 80 damage (8 x 10 = 80). However, when you roll doubles you get to use an ability. So if you??re a knight who rolled doubles then you could use any ability that the weapon comes with. For this example we??ll use ??Slash??. Slash does twice the damage of a normal attack so the attack power would be 8 x 10 x 2 which equals 160 damage. (strength of weapon x sum of dice roll x strength of ability).

So basically to use an ability you have to roll doubles, but if you are a mage (Black, White, Blue, Status), then all you have to do to use an ability, is have the sum of both dice to equal an even number. So if a mage rolls a 6 and a 4, then they could use an ability, but if they rolled a 6 and a 3, then that equals an odd number, so they would have to use a normal attack. The reason why mage??s don??t have to roll doubles is because it would be retarded for them to go around whacking people with their weak ass weapons all the time. And please for the love of god DON??T ++++ING CHEAT!!!. If you cheat, then your whole entire clan is disqualified from the battle, the whole entire clan gets no battle reward what so ever, and the cheaters involved will be suspended from all clan action until I feel like unsuspending you which could be a week, month, or never. And if you do get unsuspended, then you get the privilege of standing before you clan and explaining why you cheated and you get to beg them to take you back (basically a public mockery ?? And now that everyone can see your roll, there's no way in hell you can get away with it

HP/MP
HP - Contrary to popular belief, battle HP is NOT your posting HP. The reason for this is to keep post-happy people like Link and Subete from becoming gods on the battle field. For the first battle everyone??s HP in each clan will be 150. If your clan wins, then everyone in the clan gets 100 HP and 100 Gil as their reward. The two losing clans get the runner-up prize of 50 HP and 50 Gil. So by the time the 2nd battle rolls around, everyone from the winning clan will all have 250 HP, while everyone on the 2 losing clans will have 200 HP. I think this way is best because it allows everyone to be on an equal playing field, for the most part, and people who don??t post like crazy ++++ers don??t have to worry about falling behind the people who post 30 times a day.

MP ?V Simply put, it doesn??t exist (kinda like FF8 :P ) You can use your abilities as many times per battle u want as long as you roll doubles for non-mages, or an even number if you??re a mage. The only abilities you cant use more than once per battle are Death and Self Destruct because they automatically kill anyone they hit 100% of the time (unless a Dragoon casts Dragoon??s Spirit on you which nullifies instant death).

Items
Items can be used regardless of your dice roll. It doesn't matter if its even, odd, or doubles, you can still use an item.

Winning
I decided to change this too. You only have to kill whoever is online at the time in the other clan, instead of killing all 12 members if only 5 are on. It would be too confusing to post the attack order of all 12 members if only 5 or 6 of them show up.

Here??s a real generic example of what each of your posts should look like. It doesn??t have to be a fricken novel, but I??d say it needs to be a short paragraph at the least.

Justin runs out onto the battlefield and sees his most hated rival, the evil Missing Link. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Justin draws out the legendary Ultima Weapon and hits him with the fabled Holy Cross attack. The attack rips through Link killing him instantly.

(Don??t add the parenthesis crap to your post, its just in this tutorial as an example)

Own HP: 150
Link??s HP: 150
Attack used: Holy Cross
Link??s Status: (this is where you post if your attack gave your opponent a status effect)
Damage to Link: 240 ?K?K(weapon strength 12 x dice roll 10 x ability strength 2 = 240 damage)
Link??s HP: 0 ?K.(150 ?V 240 = dead)

If you??re a healer who isn??t attacking, then replace ??Attacks used?? with ??Magic used?? and replace ??Damage to?? with ??Healed persons name?? so it??ll look something like this

Roll: 5,5
Own HP: 150
Justin??s HP: 50
Magic used: Cure
Healed Justin: 100 HP
Justin??s HP: 150


That??s the battle system in a nutshell. If you don??t understand something or have any questions or comments then feel free to post it and I??ll get to it. Even if you??re not in the battle you still get the rewards, but if you don??t help out your clan, then it??s going to be harder for them to win outnumbered Absolutely NO spamming in the battles or else I??m going to get TOTALLY pissed. In the mean time feel free to have some practice battles within your clan so you'll get the hang of it by the time to real thing pops up...again. [/QUOTE]
