Delete Post with Reason
Here is my thought, if there is a hack for this already, please point me to it (I've looked but couldn't find anything like it)
If you, as a moderator or admin, delete a post in a thread, you are prompted for a reason for the delete. Then, rather than the post disappearing, it is replaced by a special 'post' that notes that the post was deleted (perhaps, by whom) and the text of the msg would be the reason given. Can anyone help? |

You already have it, dont you? Click the magic "Edit" Button, and replace the post by your "delete reason text"..

Well, if you want to do it the clunky way...
I was looking for something that would alter the left pane somewhat ...something like (User1 Post deleted by User2) I've seen something like this on other boards (non-vB, though) |

I would like this too. The only thing is, if the post is not actually deleted, it will still come up in searches and possibly other situations. If the post is actually deleted, then how will the system know to post a deleted by message?
