ok, so would it be possible for the vb to send a daily/weekly/whenever email to all the users telling them what new threads have been made? maybe even for specific forums you choose? i think this would definetly help boost posts, and keep them 90% of registered users who don't vists anymore coming back.

That actually sounds like a good idea, as long as it was automated; say every 12 hours (reason being some people would not remember to send them daily).

ahh praise from cesar himself.......anyway there could be 2 options, 1 being the admin chooses when the emails get sent out, the other being when the user wants to get them, if they choose weekly maybe then you could change it from new threads to most popular maybe?
