The most amazing software ever created!!!!!

I was reading in my Maximum Pc magazine I got yesterday about this program called Earth Viewer, that allows you to view any place on earth and is rendered with OpenGl graphics. So I thought, "cool!" I went to the site, registered, and downloaded the small 4 megabyte something file. Installed, then ran it and I am AMAZED!! You can see any place in the whole freaking world!! It has beautiful graphics depending on your video card (which mine is a GeForce3). You can look up an address, by street name, zip code, and the regular and it will find it anyway! Got friends on AIM/MSN/ICQ and wanna know where they live? Get their address and you can see their house!

oh, and how is it done exactly without causing extreme lag on your internet connection? Obviously a small 4 meg file can't pack all those images. It's done by a satelite image transfering incredibly fast through the software and internet connection, so even 256kps connection should be ok. The most important thing though is to make sure your video card is decent, or else the image won't look as good like the one above.

I don't know about you, but I think $599 (USD) a year is a little high for personal use.

You're right, but as long as you have many email address on your domain, you can keep using those trial versions
