How to change Unregistered usergroup ID

Hi, I heard it's possible to change the Unregistered usergroup ID in vBulletin, and I've googled but I think I googled not well enough, so that I could not see any relevant results.
How to change Unregistered usergroup ID? Now and by default it is 1, but for example I want to change it to 10! Or even a primary one, like 6!
How to do it?

Why would you want to change the usergroup ID?

I have a feeling it's going to be a large task, the ID are only internally. The admin is the only one who would know it's been changed.

You dont, it would most likely break things, while serving no purpose at all.

I'm going to test something and I changed the Unregistered ID in usergroup table to 12.
It seems my test worked well, not perfectly as I expected, but it's OK

There is more than one table that calls the usergroup ID.. :erm:


FYI.. there are 85 matches for "usergroup" in the vbulletin schema, which you can find in your install folder..
You will break the site if you changed one usergroup ID as you said..

Really? Fortunately I was testing it on my test-site, so there's nothing to be worry about.

Yeah, I figured out changing usergroup table didn't work, then I reverted changed back!
And now my test is done via another method

Thats nice for you, there is nothing physically stopping you from changing any id value in any table, thats not the point. The point is some code is likely to rely on it being 1, so changing it will likely break something - and all for nothing, there is no gain in messing with internal ids, only pain, but if you think you know best, go for it.

Yeah, I figured it out when I only changed guest id in usergroup tabel
Then I reverted any changes were done
