Am I doing something wrong? I haven't changed the code except for only getting the last 6 or so news items. Should I use vbIndex or whatever the competing hack is?

Well got it down to 109 by setting the latest threads thing to 0 since I wasn't showing them on the home anyway...

There we go, deleted all the code for retreiving the latest threads. It was query'ing in a while loop, so it's down to 24 now. *wipes sweat, sigh*
