Random *** in User Title?

Hello,

I am having an issue with my custom User Title. Whenever I add a users role in there user titles it add randoms starts. Censorship is disabled. But I can add other words to there titles without an issue..

It depends on what the usertitle you're trying to add is. Certain keywords are prevented from being used as usertitles to keep users from making people think they're admins or mods or the like.

Correct. But if I set Moderator via the acp it still shows up as ***

It doesn't matter how the username is set it won't display if it has any of the key words. Why not use ranks to give an image to groups to define the job the users who are members of it.

If you go to vBulletin Options>>User Profile Options.
Remove "moderator" from>>Censored Words for Usertitle.
Should fix it if you don't add rank images.
