Vbulletin.com has been horribly slow since it went to VB 5 ( may be better now havent been on the forums their in months)
You would think that the company that wrote VB and is also now in the VB hosting game could pour enough hardware and resources to fix their own flagship site ....
I have 2 large VB sites and am very disappointed in the direction that Internet Brands and VB have gone.

v5 is slow, right out of the box. But then again, v4 is slower than v3. So there ya go.
Yep! vB4 can be pretty slow itself and does seem to have some really bloated code compared to vb3. But I actually like vB4 better now that I got over it lol.
These chosen are happy with vB5 - whether you like it or not.
Why can't you all accept that some people might just be happy with their choice, and the fact that you don't approve of that choice doesn't matter one jot?
Well, the users that moved, made a choice and moved, and either stay because they like it, or they have to because they upgraded a live site, without taking a backup, and can not downgrade.
So they expressed their opinion by upgrading to vB5, just as the users here are expressing their disgust with it.
Nothing that has been said in a lie, it is all truth.
