Make vB update Notifications stop
Hi,
I haven't used vB in ages, I don't have any valid license left but I'm still receiving about 2 Mod Update Mails a Week. If I click the "Edit notification settings" link, I'm confronted with an error saying that I do not have a valid license. Yeah I do not, so that's why I have to keep receiving these mails to the end of my life? How can I make this stop... if possible without the junk-mail function, I have to check even these often so the fewer I get the better. PS: Sorry got a bit upset here... |

Xaser,
You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-Germany users click here) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status. The update of your account can take up to one hour. Thank you. |

@Zachery
@Lynne I think that he is meaning something totally different. He WAS licensed member here in the past and during that period he has downloaded some mods and/or styles (here at vb.org and not vb.com). After all he sold his license but as he has subscribted to the threads of that mods he is getting notifications for updates etc. What he wants to do it to stop these notifications but he can't do it as the system is now don't recognize him as licensed member so he can't change his settings. So it has nothing to do with vb.com as Zachery supposed, or nothing to do with new downloads as Lynne thiks. He just wants to turn off the notifications from the downloads that he did some years (maybe) ago. |

Ah, you are right, Nick.
I have deleted the subscriptions and hopefully that fixes the issue. |
