Registration
Hello,
I'm using 5.05 vB. I haven't launched my board yet I decided to check out registration system to see how that works out. Sad to say I didn't get far. I going to get some 13, 14 year old kids in the mix so I left the Coppa activated. So I go in and when it asked for an age I wrote 16 to go with this fictitious character, gave my address for parental approval... How can I delete this stuff I seem to be stuck and start all over. I'm an Admin just trying to register as a regular person to see what goes on... Any ideas? |

You can always just log in as the admin user and delete said fictitious account through your Admin CP, or if you really wanted to start over, just drop all the tables in your vBulletin database that pertain to vBulletin, and restore the install directory, and reinstall your copy of vBulletin.

Just go into the admincp with your admin account under users and delete the ones you made.

COPPA is only if you're under 13, I believe you entered the form wrong.
You can just opt to DENY users under 13 of registration. |

If you do enter a birthdate younger than 13 and then get 'stuck' in a loop, clear your site cookies since you most likely have COPPA Registration System Cookie Check turned on.

Thanks everybody - good ideas!
Lynne, I've clicked your HTML link I'll give it a whirl. I do tend to look at FAQs and searches before I ask my questions. Thanks, |
