php 4.2.0
are there any know issuses in using vb with php 4.2.0?
its uses External variables The biggest change in PHP 4.2.0 concerns variable handling. External variables (from the environment, the HTTP request, cookies or the web server) are no longer registered in the global scope by default. The preferred method of accessing these external variables is by using the new Superglobal arrays, introduced in PHP 4.1.0. More information about this change: I need to know before I buy |

I though you had to change an ini-setting. Register globals or something...

I heard you have to change setting in your php.ini becuase VB2.* is not compliant with new php standards

It has nothing to do with being standards compliant, it has to do with the php-dev crew finally doing something they should have done a long time ago
