Can't edit posts - disabled all plugins but new skin works
Hi everyone,
I upgraded from 4.0.3 to 4.2.2, all seems great, few bugs here and there to fix. Anyways, no one can edit posts on the main page. The only way to edit posts is to click on EDIT POST....Click again on the original EDIT POST button which brings up the advanced option. I disabled all plugins by adding define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); into the config file but no luck. I took Lynnes advice in another thread and created a new style with no parent and that worked fine. It also fixed the enter key problem I am having with IE 10 as well. Anyways, can anyone help me try to work out how I can identify what exactly is causing the issue? I can assume all of the plugins are ok and now it is something to do with a mod I have done to a style somewhere? |

I would say you need to find styles that are for vB 4.2.2, the styles you have are outdated code to work with such a version change.

Thanks Ozzy. I found it was something I placed in the Navbar that was causing the issue. Replace the code with the original for 4.2.2 and all worked fine.
Just thought I would let everyone know in case someone else comes across this. It fixed both the editing and the enter key issue with IE10. |
