Question About installing Mods

In aswer to your question, if you are talking about your forum software then extract it where you want your forum so either in public_html so you forum will start at say www.mysite.com or make a folder called forum and extract it there, you forum will then be www.mysite.com/forum.

I'm talking about installing mods on my forum... do i install In legacy file manager or just file manager?

If you had a pc or a way i could of talked to you with skype but the remote desktop u wanted me to use wont work for me as it does not let u see how to upload files or how to install them and i am sure you can get to a pc or laptop after all it is 2014. Try using google or youtube or find a video on vbulletin.com there are plenty there that will help u

It doesn't matter they both do the same although Legacy allows you to upload multiple files at once.

Ideally you should be uploading files via ftp as it's intelligent and loads to the same hierarchy, this is why people who build mods will add a folder called upload, when you open it there may be a folder marked admincp and one marked includes (for instance), when uploading these files via ftp the software will automatically put them in the correct folders and ask if you want to overwrite the files if needed
