VB API Functions

Is there a way to do the following using the VB API?

• Get a list of all threads a member has posted (in specific forums if possible).
• Get all posts which belong to a specific thread.
• Reply to a thread.
• Get the usergroups of a member.

The vB API docs aren't doing me much help.

Are you talking about using the mobile api or using the vb4 functions?

To be honest, either should work. I'm new to developing VB plugins and I usually edit the DB directly using PHP/MySQL but I would rather use a better method.

Just looking at your list, I believe you need to query the database. I can't think of any function that does any of the things you are wanting.

1. When you try to do a reply/new thread, it's better to use vbulletin's included datamanagers.
2. Maybe the function fetch_userinfo($userid) ?
