Is there a way to move a thread post to the new Articles section in vBulletin 4?

Previously I had a forum setup for Articles and was using GARS for that but wanted to see about transferring it. If I try to move the thread I can only move it to another forum so not sure if there is an easy way to do this.

I found the Promote to Article option which seems to work but when I tell it No to keep original thread and Yes to move comments, the original thread stays and the comments do not move.

Only the original first post of the thread moves. The comments don't move the the original thread is not deleted.

That seems to work. But when I select the option No to keep original thread and Yes to Move Comments what happens is the Article is created based on the first post of the thread but the comments do not move and the original thread is not removed.

Is there another setting I need to use to move the comments over as well?
