I want what I embed on Forum Home to appear on every page
So I embedded a twitch stream and it's chat. I embedded it on Forum Home underneath the navbar. How can I get it so that it appears on every page, not just the forum home page?

You want to use a common template hook or template. For example: If you put your code at the bottom of the "navbar template" then it would show on every page that used the navbar. There is probably a template hook that you can use that will work better. Sorry, I am just not familiar with the standard vbulletin templates.
When I get home I will take a quick look for you. Maybe one of the smart lads around here will point you to the right template hook. |

Just for what its worth, I'd probably stop using a forum that forced me to view the embedded twitch stream on every page. That is a lot of extra page load time and overhead in the page rendering.

Your advice of course is solid. Somehow everyone has to learn it the hard way.

Our site is a Madden site, so whenever we play one of our games we at times want to be able to chat with people on twitch and also on site. That's the only time we embed the stream. We don't have a giant offline stream video player going on. WE just do it whenever we are streaming.

I think I'd go for the stream on the homepage, and a big giant link to the full stream page (either local stream page, or the twitch page) on all other pages.
