collapsable first post (almost got it)

ok so im trying to do collapsible first posts (like here) i pretty much have them working, but i was wondering say the thread has more than 1 page, i want the boxes to be collapsed by default on the second+ page. i know how to make them collapsed by default already, but i cant figure out the

<if showthread page 2+> condition


also, my boxes arent saving with cookies...ie:

i collapse first post, refresh the page and they are not collapsed anymore, anyway to fix that also?

also i cant seem to get the buttons to collapse along with the fist post

To check the page, use $pagenumber > 1. As for the collapse problem, I'm not sure, but it may be that since there's more than one postbit on the page, your collapse id isn't unique. Maybe try appending the postid to forumhome_activeusers. (Or maybe the userid would be more appropriate? But the collape system might not work that way, since I believe in html you really are only allowed to use an id once per page).

i did manage to get this all working btw, but turns out collapsing the post by default not being on page 1 isnt a good idea =) say if someone finds a post through google but it lands them on say page 5 and the OP is collapsed thats not good lol (this is with 1st post on all pages btw)
