Adsense Code
Ok, I posted 3 times and solved my own problem each time...I'm hoping this will be the last post....I have the adsense code from Google, but I'm not sure where it gets placed. I'm using Vbulletin 4.2 and Twisted Dark Blue theme. (Not sure if the theme matters or not)...There is a huge 728 x 90 panel at the top of the page. If someone can tell me what template it will go into, It would be very appreciated..
Thanks in advance F |

Admin Control Panel - Advertising - Manage Ads - Add New Ad - Global
Then select either the "Header" position, or "Below Navbar" position. Paste your Adsence code in the "Ad HTML" block. Just takes a couple seconds. |

When I click on anything in the advertising block, it doesn't do anything...I click on "manage ad's", nothing happens...If I click on "add new ad", nothing happens...
The only thing that works if I click on it is "postrelease" Thanks for reading F --------------- Added [DATE]1344884276[/DATE] at [TIME]1344884276[/TIME] --------------- Well, I had to right click and choose "open in new tab", and it worked...Just hoping I chose the correct area...LOL...thanks for the help! When you say nothing happens, what do you mean exactly - nothing changes at all (the main frame still shows the previous page you were on)?

Exactly...I stay on the same page...it's like clicking on something without a link...I right clicked on it and chose to open in a new tab...Then the page showed up and I was able to put the code in there.
Thanks for reading F |

You might want to try a different internet browser. I know Chrome works the best for me when using the vBulletin Admin Control Panel.

I wouldn't use the ad manager at all, just forget you even see that.
Use the built in ad_location_ templates within your style. Look for ad_location_header if I understand where you're trying to place the ads, or ad_location_under_navbar (or something like that) A screenshot or link would help us as well. |
