Default Can I buy vB 3.8.x ?
Hello,

I'm interested in buying a vBulletin license but I'd prefer to use vBulletin 3 over vBulletin 4, main reasons being vB3 looks cleaner and nicer than vB4 in my opinion (I'm referring to the styles of the forum). However, all I've seen available for purchasing is vB4. Is there any way I can use vB3?

The license has options to download the latest vB3, or the latest vB4.

Nope, but you retain the ability to download one, or both.

If you want the CMS package though, that's 4.x.x only and it is more.

So if I buy one license, I can legally use one copy of vBulletin 4.x.x and one vBulletin 3.x.x simultaneously? Is that correct?

You can have one as a live site, and the other as a private, test site.

A vBulletin 4 license will allow you to run 1 copy of vBulletin, any version you want from 2.x to 4.9.99999 or whatever the last version of VB4 will be.

In addition the license allows you to have 1 password protected test site.
