Is it possible to create a hack where you can allow different usergroups access to the board when it is closed. For example I close my boards on a regular basis so that a mass cleanup of threads/posts and installation of hacks can take place.

I would like however for moderators and super moderators to be able to access the board when it is closed to registered members. This isn't the case ALL the time though so I require a hack where when I shut the board I can determine who can and can't see it

I'd be interested in this too.
Actually, it would be nice to have this as an option under "board is active", so that one could choose to allow only admins also.

there are some hints on this board how to allow more than one usergroup to browse the board while it's closed
