Default Those submit your link free sites.....
I am noob when it comes to SEO and stuff that's why my forums are suffering, but somehow I menage to bring users...

Anyways, I just don't understand those sites offering to submit your link for free... is it only page hits or what...?

Personally I submitet my links to some 50-60 sites as mentioned above, don't see how it would hurt, or it can?
