Direct link to post in new window/tab? (vB3 style)
Hi! When you link directly to posts in VB4, it will simply display that specific post inside the full thread.
In VB3 it used to display only the post in its own window. Is this possible to do in VB4? Thanks! |

I am wondering how to do this in vB4 as well, as it's been removed, it seems, and folks over at vBulletin.com aren't very helpful when it comes to "reverting" to the way vB3 used to do it.
Any suggestions? |

All I know is that it doesn't look like there's any script in vb4 to display a single post like there was in vb3. I don't know why, but I can't think of any reason you couldn't write one.
ETA:...could just be a design decision - there's not much reason to have a single post alone in a window. I know whenever I click on a link to a post in vb3 my first thought is how to get to the thread to see the whole conversation. |
