v4.x
Hi,
I ran a vbulletin board some years ago and i'm thinking about starting up another board. My question is, if i download v4.x, can the users pick v3.x from a menu if they like that version better? peace |

uhh, i figured that.
i understand that i can download v3.x, but would i really want to do that, as opposed to the greater benefits (security etc) of v.4x? peace |

Like you are rebuilding your new house, when it done, you cannot expect that when you open the door you can choose between the old or new house. It was already rewritten.
Vbulletin 4.x is up to date in general, developers are developing new mods and styles for these 4.x.x series and "almost" stopped upgrade for 3.x.x version. About the other features, I won't say more it's depends. The default is design is really bad and the CMS is receiving a lot of complains. |

A good style could make it more user friendly, though.
