Profile text transparent
I submitted a question yestarday and have been spending a long while trying to implement it. The text and link text and everything in profiles is set to transparent. I have gone through all the stylevars that I thought would make the difference and Ive explored all the CSS and I cant find where I need to change to beable to see the text. If anyone would care to could you please visit and check out what Im talking about? Thank you

I think i can help you let me log in and check if its the same thing i am thinking of i will give u update in few seconds.
--------------- Added [DATE]1317692528[/DATE] at [TIME]1317692528[/TIME] --------------- 1st option : Have u tried disabling the profile customization option from your acp ? --------------- Added [DATE]1317694533[/DATE] at [TIME]1317694533[/TIME] --------------- Okay i hope m gonna make ur life easy i think so :P What's your experience in database ? This is what you actually have to do. go to your database and You want to look at the customprofile table. There should be a row where userid = -1. Do you see that row? Delete it and then the profiles will show as normal. As always, before doing anything to your database, make a backup! If this resolve your issue please update this thread for someone who might come across the same situation. Thanks |

Sounds like a simple fix. To answer your question, I know nothing of database. I'm a freedom fighter who is limping through this vbulletin thing. Ive learned what I consider a lot along the way. Even though compared to many vBers I may know very little. My strengths definetely do not lie in vbulletin or anything that has anything to do with computers really. I am out of my element that is for sure, but you know what? Im doing it, Im powering through and Im facing the unknown head on, and most importantly, I am making progress.
Where do I fond this table? whats the path? |

Well it is very simple U not the only one i started just like you and i still don't know much of the stuff :P well the only way to learn is to make mistakes (that's what i have learnt) Just keep it up and everything will b aryte man. I will try to give u some guidelines and hope this will help
FIRST & MOST IMPORTANT : MAKE "BACKUP" before you do anything else Here are the steps to delete that useid from your database. Login to your "cpanel" Click on "phpMyAdmin" Select your "database name" from left side Type "Customprofile" on the left side where currently is should say "filter tables by name" remove it and seach for "customprofile" Click on "customprofile" table and now look at the right side. look at the use id table and see if u can find "-1" in that table and if u do just put a check mark from the left and click on delete or simply just click on delete. Attaching pics also to make it a lil more helpful. (hope so) If this helps let me know. "please make sure to create a backup before u make any changes" Thanks |
