How to hide soft deleted posts in search results?
When searching through user's posts, soft-deleted posts appears the same way regular posts do.
Is there a way to make them look different in Search Results? Or hide them completely? |

I don't think so. Good suggestion for an add-on.
FWIW, regular members can't see the deleted post in their results or anywhere else. |

That's working as intended. It's the purpose of soft deletion, so you can find the posts again if necessary. That's not a bug, and the workaround you posted is for a completely different issue.

The workaround lets moderators/admins to discern between regular and soft deleted posts in the search results. Without it, regular posts and soft deleted posts look exactly the same there.
So it does solve the problem. |
