as the title says is there a way on vb 4.1.5 to make header wider up and down (width no lenth) so you will have room for a bigger logo? also what must you do to change the header color? thanks

If you put in a bigger logo, I believe the header will expand to accomodate it. Have you tried?

I resized and replaced original logo and it changed my header size.
Under admin CP > styles & templates > select your template > style vars > header > header_background and choose your color if you need to find hex codes (the #______) just do a google search and you can get the palette Just fyi there is a stylevar dictionary you can find in the manual (under styles and templates) that i have found invaluable. i have it up always! |

You can find the manual by looking at the nav bar at the top of the page for quick links > vbulletin manual. From there go to Stylevar and it will show you illustrations with corresponding variables. The variables will allow you to make all the changes to colors, text, etc.
Not sure why your colors aren't changing - do you have more than one style chosen and are you applying the changes to the correct style? I know it can get confusing if you are using several diff styles. |
