bada_bing, it may be better for you (or other community members) to simply customize the 'post thanks' mod from Abe1 and make it into a "likes" mod.
Not very hard at all by simply making a "likes" button (as opposed to a "thanks" button) and then changing the phrases that state "thanks" to "likes" and you're set  |

Given you have been a member for 7 years, I would have expected you to already be aware that 90%+ of the internal vb.org code has never been made public. I'm surprised this is suddenly such a revelation to you.

Yeah guys come on. Do a one off vbulletin mod release, even release as a member rather than a staffer.

In large forums, a list of all who liked a post could easily use a lot of screen real estate.
IMHO it would be better if a liked post only contained eg. "Likes: 23", where forum members, as an option, could click on the number and see a list of of those who liked the post. --------------- Added [DATE]1308930305[/DATE] at [TIME]1308930305[/TIME] --------------- Agree - the current placement gives user an impression about liking a user (instead of his message). |

Fair enough, but IMO even the current solution asks for too much attention - with only one voter: "The following users liked this post: ****** *******".
"Likes: 1" is more elegant. Or just an icon of some sort, and then "1". |
