What Is This Image (px.gif)?
Our IP search icon usually appears as follows:
However, it occasionally looks like this: We?re not sure what causes this. Is anyone familiar with this? |

Neither of those images will load for me. I also don't have an image called px.gif anywhere in my image directory, is that one you made yourself?

I've attached the images to this post.
I'm not sure where the images came from. The site was established years before I showed up, but I get the sense that the original owners didn't change the default layout much. It's on vB3.7, if that matters. |

Hmm...it's not just a different icon for another style? But I guess then it would be named ip.gif in a different directory.
I have 3.8 so I guess it could be why I don't have it. Maybe search your templates for px.gif and see if there's a condition for when it's used. |

Good thinking. It seems to be tied to an if condition related to proxies, but if that's the case, it doesn't seem to work especially well. Perhaps this is why it was seemingly phased out in 3.8?

Or else someone added it to your site, either a product or just a custom mod. Sounds pretty cool if it can actually detect proxies.

Check and see if you have Paul M's proxy to real IP Conversion installed. it has a red image that looks like it.

That is Paul's proxy mod. The red/pink icon id when a proxy is detected.

Yep! That's what it was. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working. :<
