Hello,
Here's what I'd like to do on my forum: When users post a thread or reply to a thread I would like them to be able to click a button in the editor, which would paste text in the textarea where users could then edit it. In my case it would be a questionnaire. I would like to enable the option for certain forums only. Ideally I would like to be able to add more than one button: Insert text #1 / Insert text #2 / Insert text #3 Also, the possibility to assign Insert text #1 to Forum A, and Insert text #2 to Forum B I'm thinking this should be possible because it's what a smiley does, you click on the smiley icon, and it inserts text, right? Personnally I have no idea how to do this :erm: Could be a pretty useful feature for a lot of people IMHO. See attached images to see where these buttons could be placed. |

There is a mod called something like Thread Stencil which will put text into a post/thread automatically. You may want to look that up.
