As an extra layer of security, I'd like to have vB (3.8) match the login IP address to an array of allowed IP addresses to login as a given user.

I have looked and looked and have not found anything like this.

Anyone know how this can be done?

Actually is an idea I had made for an old forum, it's fairly simple as well. I would suggest against this, unless your board users are on cable or something of that sort.

Abandoned the mod because it locked users out with dynamic IP Addresses.

Ah, that makes more sense now. I'll see what I can come up with for you, but I've got a bit on my plate right now (a few job requests, etc.) .. will try to get something this weekend or next weekend up for you

Thank you so much! That's great! Having an array of allowed IPs for each given userid (stored in the config file, just like uneditableuser, etc.) would be best I think for security.
