Can't seem to find what I'm looking for
Hi guys,
While looking for ways to resize images in posts, I was only finding mods that allowed me to specify a limit via the adminCP. While that's all well and good, what I really want is a way for the poster to specify the width of the image he's posting by doing this: [ IMG=250] (without the space obviously) to set the image's width, and then of course the forum resizes the image appropriately to match his specification while maintaining the width/height ratio of the image. Is this mod out there already? I'm told it exists somewhere, but the person talking to me about it wasn't clear if he was seeing it on a vB forum or not. Thanks! |

If it's out there I've never seen it and I've looked before. There would be no way for a basic bbcode to know the proper height given just the width, you'd need serious image processing for that, and also browser resizing leaves a lot to be desired so you'd probably want the server to do it- it's not a simple task.
