You can make DB Abstraction to support additional databases,
by using ADODB or other tech.Can you? I think this is the tomorrow of vbulletin.On Oracle,MySQL,PostgreSQL,Access.... vbulletin will be more powerful!If your dev team accept it ,many fans of vbulletin will glad! |

vB already uses database abstraction - and always has done ever since release. However, our queries aren't optimized (and often aren't even compatible) for database systems other than MySQL. Making vB work on another database system is a mammoth task - while it will more than likely happen eventually it won't be for a while.
