vBAdvanced Users - Necessary with vB4?
Hi. I received an email announcement today about vBAdvanced products for vB 4.0. It looks pretty nice, but I'm not familiar with vBAdvanced or any of their products. To my untutored eye, it looks like vB 4.0 CMS can do most or all of what vBAdvanced does, so I'm questioning the value of vBAdvanced on a vB4 site. I'd appreciate any feedback from vBAdvanced users.
Thanks and regards, Dan. |

VB4cms can do everything VBA does... VBA just does it better... and free.
VB4cms is hot garbage right now. Almost no templates are cached in VB4cms and the load times are exorbitant. On my test server, my media script loads in 0.22 seconds... my CMS front page loads in... 9.64 seconds. |

My apologies, but I'm still working through this... If I understand this, VBA replaces the CMS Front Page. I.e. you use VBA and not CMS. Correct? Regarding performance, you mentioned "media script". Is this a VBA "media script"? Thanks, Dan. |

No, my live site doesn't use VB4. I'm still using VB3.8x (with VBA) on my live site until I can do my own tweaks to VB4 to make it faster.
My "media script" is this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=240677 |

Actually you can use both vBa CMPS and the new vB CMS on the same site.
