I have an inactive users plugin running that automatically changes members who have been inactive after 60 days into an inactive group. How do you setup an automatic email to be sent out to them advising them of this and also include if they no longer want to be a member to reply asking for their details to be removed. I have done numerous searches for this in articles, mods etc but can't find anything that covers this.
Thanks for replies. |

You could ask this in the thread of the modification you are using or simply sent out an Email from AdminCP to only this usergroup.

Thanks I thought of that, but it seemed that that might not be possible. I had also thought of the email from AdminCP, but then that is extra workload, I run the whole board by myself, with gallery2 and joomla to look after as well. I wanted something that was automatic that I could set up and it does it for me. I appreciate the advice, I contacted a friend who runs a website and actually has a product that was written for his site that he has supplied to me, which does what I wanted. So will give that a try first.
Personally I think a lot of the Mods that are supplied here, are totally fantastic, but they should be integral parts of the vbulletin product itself and I think I wouldn't be the only one to think that way. Thanks for your replies. |
