Sorry, no, the only modifications I write are ones that I need on my site. I barely have time for that.

apparently there's also nobody else here even interested in it.

i guess that's another mod request, that turns to dust.

Check out 'Links and Downloads Manager'. It might be a bit over the top but if you configure it right it should do what you want
I use it to host dj mixes on my site. Users can vote and comment on their favourite mixes. The same concept can be applied for hosting links.
