Conditionals question
Hi there
I implemented this mod and changed the text in the popup to some random stuff. The question is, how can i add some conditionals to it so that people won't see it everytime they go on homepage, instead they will only see it once per day thanks |

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it. (We users out here in the main forums have no idea what the code looks like for that mod and so we can't tell you how, or if, what you want is possible).

thanks for the quick reply lynne, but what i want to do has nothing to do with the theme
it is related to vbulletin IF conditionals (Example :<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == 'index'"> ...</if> ); there is a list on the forums here with conditionals, and some more on other vb related websites, but none of the lists has what i'm looking for. I'm not even sure if you can do that with a conditional or using some other php script or javascript, thats why i'm asking |

Hmmmm sounds like a cookie thing, check into php or javascript cookies. You will need it to send them the cookie whenever they leave the page then when they enter the the page and if they have the cookie make it don't display.
