Static page - remove primary content

I want to make my CMS page just a static page with widgets.

Then have another page .. that shows the primary content

in the layout design I cannot remove the primary content

the cms has so many bugs in v4.02. and everything seems to be backwards it's almost worthless trying to add text+images on it. u can add 1, but not combined.

i'm looking to do a static page/spash screen as well,..just so members don't have to see the cms mess.

I'm not sure what you want but if you want a page that works with vb, and you can customize how you want to, then here it is https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....91&postcount=2

OK now once you have that template made you can call it using the instructions in that thread about the page.

once you can call the page, you can make that page your CMS page by forcing it to become the cms I'm adding a pic, now when you push home it will call that page and if you want to you can always call content.php for the real CMS with any link
