Few Problems?
First off how do i lgive me moderators full admin access but keep them in the Moderators group? Have certain members that help me admin my site and design it etc and help change passwords but keep the status as Moderator? Have ticked every box in the usergroup permissions box to Yes but they still can't change passwords etc?
Secondly using the default Skin how do i change the buttons e.g + Post Reply etc? looked in my images folder and there not there? Thirdly - Display names, how can my users have display names and keep there original login details and usernames? Lastly - RSS links on forumhome, I have the tick to allow users to subscribe how do i get the RSS link there that works and other little icons? Hope someone can help on any of this will really appreciate it! Thanks! Simon |

Well I can help with the first two at least.
First, you can either make a new group or use the Super Moderator group or something. In the group editor, have "Can Access Control Panel" under Administrator Options checked. When you change someone's rank, if you don't see a notice to change the administrator permissions, click the drop-down box and click on the last link saying "Edit Administrator Permissions." If you only want them to be able to have access to changing passwords, set all of the permissions to "no" except "Can Administer Users." Your moderators should be able to access AdminCP and only see the necessary options that way. For the second problem, the stylevar you want to edit the buttons with is "control_background." |

Oh sorry, go into Style Manager and on the drop-down menu of your selected style, go to StyleVars (if you didn't already know to do that.) You can search for control_background in the search box at the top to take you directly to that stylevar. You'll actually want to change both control_background and control_content_background. Both are under the "Common" category. control_content_hover_background is the color for the hover effect.
