Error Messages
I'm attempting to figure out how vb displays their error messages.
I have gone thru register.php and see where it creates a variable called $errorlist and then adds a li for each error. But I am trying to see where it displays those errors. |

You mean what template they get displayed in? Try a Search in Templates for $errorlist and you will see a list of templates that list gets displayed in.

Yes I found the template for it and found out it is just a datamanager for the $userdata. It then just adds the info to the $errorlist and flags the $show['errors'] to true.
EDIT: For some reason, my phrases won't work for the errors. I added them into the global, but yet I can't use them. I've double checked the spelling. Am I missing something? |

Can anyone help me? I still can't find out why the phrases won't work.
I get; could not find phrase 'phrase_name'. Do I need to include a different file to load the global? I currently have global.php, fuctions.php and class_core.php |

error phrases are not global phrases. You need to make them Front End Error Message phrases.
