Who's online for staff.

Is there a hack or mod that will put a link at the bottom of the page near the "contact -- Admin ext" so that only my staff can see who's online and what there doing?

I have only very rookie like programing skills and only in VB. I thought I searched but couldn't find anything. I did see a post with the "hooks" I believe its called, but like I said I don't know how to impliment it or control it so only mods and up can see who is online!

To put a link in the footer you can add this to the footer template:

where X, Y and Z are usergroup id numbers.

I'm not sure what you mean by "...that only my staff can see who's online and what there doing?"

Sorry, meaning that only mods or above can see who is online.

Do you want to make the "What's going on?" box only accessible for usergroups moderator and above? If so, wrap it in this code:

Where X, Y and Z correspond to the usergroup IDs (Mod/SMod/Admin).

Usergroup Manager > select usergroup > set Can View Who's Online to either Yes (for mods) or No (for all other users). Then the link will only show in the dropdown to your Mods.
