Skin help (or vB dont know where its located)
Okay I am remaking splash, by vBtree, me and my friend alex own vBtree and we made the skin so dont worry, i am remaking it for 3.8.3 so people can use it without using 3.7.
How would I make the forums, posts, last post, threads, appear under the category title strip? |

Find the template and then reverse the two rows.
To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. |

If that is right above the code of interest, then check out the forumhome_forumbit_level1_post template.

Well, you need to find the template to edit, right? So, when you turn on that option, then there are comments put into the page source that tell you what template you are looking at. If you find your code in the page source, then go above there, it will say the template name. In this case, you said it said "forumhome_forumbit_level1_post". Have you taken a look at that template?
I have also seen articles on how to do this. Have you looked at either the articles section here or the Tips sections on vb.com? |
