User avatars not showing up in threads

If you go to the users profile that is the only way you'll see the avatars but not in forum threads... how can I fix this?

Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

When I do this I get the error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function clean_gpc() on a non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\vaz\discussions\showthread.php on line 95

When you disable the hooks you get that? That should not happen at all. It sounds to me like some files have been modified on your site. Have you modified the global.php file or any of the files in /includes?

What happens when you just create and use the new default style?

Omg, nvm I was mistakening the avatar as the Profile picture - which I uploaded instead of Avatar! But it works now, thank you!

Another thing... how can I enable a the default avatar for members without any avatars set?
